It is 1870 – in Parkgte, a little village in the north of Ireland. The people from the village are very excited. They know that the Man from Peru wants cats because there are a lot of mice in Peru. He is coming to visit Parkgate. All the people come with their cats* but the Man from Peru doesn’t appear. Finally, the story is in all the newspapers. The cats of Parkgate are famous.
